Use Revo Unistaller to do uninstalls. It deletes all those entries that the app's uninstaller leaves on the machine. In other words, why go through all these steps when there is an app to do it for you.

Cannot access Network and Sharing center after installing and removing Hamachi, windows 7.
Pretty much what the subject says. I've run an sfc scan, checked registry and device manager. Every time I try to open network and sharing center that window hangs, and I need to crash and relaunch explorer.exe to get rid of the process. Anyone have a fix for this that does not involve reformatting? I think the priority of my adapaters has been ruined since the internet is displaying as an X even though I do have connection through my ethernet and can access the internet.

Has anyone got Hamachi to run on a slightly modern Windows phone? 8.1 for example?
I picked up a bargain Windows phone (Microsoft/Nokia Lumia 640XL) at the AT&T store. Windows 8.1 and it works very well, except for having only about 17 apps available, compared with 54,000 for IOS, but it comes with MS Excel and Word. It has a big screen for reading emails and stuff, and it also has a microSD card slot allowing 128GB of storage for not much money. OK, to the point, finally.
SonicWALL connect works perfectly for connecting to a SonicWall SRA appliance, and then Remote Desktop will connect to computers and servers on remote networks as well. No matter how much tweaking of VPN settings for hamachi, though, I cannot connect. Closest I get is an 809 error. The available settings seem like they could be made to work, but so far no luck.
Has anyone got Hamachi on a recent Windows phone? Thanks.

As already stated in a previous thread, the best current workaround is to refresh the Hamachi service.
net stop "LogMeIn Hamachi Tunneling Engine"
net start "LogMeIn Hamachi Tunneling Engine"
Either enter the above in a Command Prompt with administrator privilage or, more simply, make a batch command file that runs these 2 lines. Make sure your *.bat file is run as administrator.

Gateway network - IP Traffic question
I have a gateway server that feeds 30 clients. all 30 of these users are working in the office, so they have LAN access to the servers and network resources. I am using Hamachi so when they go home/away they can access servers.
My question is, if the users are sitting in the office, and Hamachi is running on their PC, when they access a server using it's IP(Let's say browsing the file server) would the computer go through Hamchi to access that server, or will it use the local network(less latency/faster connection)? Again in this scenario the user is sitting in the office with direct LAN access, but Hamachi is running in the backgroudn

Did you sove this? I have the same problem with a client's LogMeIn access. I don't have the same problem with IE or Firefox. Also Windows 10, Chrome 54.0.2840.71. TIA.

Hamachi Costs
I've been using the free service for a while but becoming annoyed with the powered off state when computers turn on. Now this is for gaming with friends & family. But not all are aware of this powered off state & my kids also are not aware or how to change it as they play minecraft with me & so forth.
So, I've tried to look into paying for Hamachi so I can have a paid host that's connected to multiple computers that should remain on at all times when they turn on the computer. But whenever I try & search. I'm presented with the costs for logmein which I don't want logmein as I have no use for it. It's specifically the Hamachi service I want.
Does anyoene know where I can find details of this service & how to buy a license because I keep been redirected to LogmeIn which I don't need or want!

No, I tried whitelisting for Adblocker Plus, and also refreshing and enabling the popups, but it won't work in Chrome with Win10. This is desktop PC, Think Centre brand. Works fine on Firefox or IE.

Thanks for replying. I indeed tracked it back to the AdBlock extension. I was able to whitelist LogMeIn. Specifically, I whitelisted secure.logmein.com. Is that the domain you tried?

FWIW, I also had to whitelist the computer I wanted to remote control. So, something like:

Yes, I was using the subdomain. I don't think I whitelisted the external computer though. I'm on my primary right now, so I'll have to try it later from home and see.
