Hamaxhi for Linux runs with no issues without lsb-core on Ubuntu and Debian. Why on earth is lsb-core required? It includes so very many dependencies that I don't want or need on my servers ...
alien cups-bsd cups-client cups-common debugedit lib32z1 libarchive13
libavahi-client3 libavahi-common-data libavahi-common3 libc6-i386 libcups2
libcupsfilters1 libcupsimage2 libfile-copy-recursive-perl libldb1
liblua5.2-0 liblzo2-2 libnettle4 libnspr4 libnss3 libnss3-nssdb librpm3
librpmbuild3 librpmio3 librpmsign1 libsmbclient libtalloc2 libtdb1
libtevent0 libwbclient0 lsb-core lsb-security m4 pax python-crypto
python-ldb python-samba python-talloc python-tdb rpm rpm-common rpm2cpio
samba-common samba-common-bin samba-libs smbclient update-inetd
Apparantly the only dependncy is for /usr/lib/lsb/install_initd. Is it just me or is it crazy to install all this extra crap just to install a service?!?!?!
Thanks.Peet
