We manage a virtual server dedicated to Quickbooks for an accountant. Clients of theirs VPN into the network using LogMeIn Hamachi, then RDP using Remote App. We have had several issues with this, but usually its small. Recently we've noticed that every once and a while Hamachi is being turned off. Anyone who has worked with Hamachi would know that its easy for a client RDPing to a sever to turn Hamachi off for everyone because if they hit the off button on the software, it turns off for everyone.
I didn't understand how our clients could be turning the software off, though, as none of them access the server with a RDP link. I signed on one of their accounts with a Remote App link and found the Hamachi software opening as a remote application along with QuickBooks. That's not good. ANY client can turn Hamachi off from the server.
I really need to turn off the splash screen for ALL clients, but all I've been able to do is turn off the auto splash screen for individual accounts with "System --> Preferences --> Settings --> Interface Settings --> Show spash screen on startup".
Is there a way to change this setting for everyone, including new clients? We have 30-40 people accessing the server at different times, so its not feasable to go onto everyone's account to turn it off.
