I managed to fix it by going in the registry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network
Then using the find function to find the old adapter named "Hamachi". Renamed it to something else then renamed the new adapter now hamachi is working again.
