I had installed logmein hamachi in two of my computers several days ago. In my Windows 7 PC, it installs successfully and there was no issues/problems whatsoever.
However, in my other PC which is running Windows XP SP3. Hamachi was able to install successfully, but when I started using it, it have a triangle beside the peer that I want to connect to. Trying to figure out what is wrong, I checked my network connections, the hamachi network interface is not installed and does not appear in the list. Checking the device manager, the hamachi network adapter is also not present even if I repeatedly refresh the list.
I had read some of the advice and instructions given in this forum and I did a manual hardware install for the hamachi network interface using the add hardware options, but it is unsuccessful. It gives an error "The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request." You can find the error message screenshot at this link:

I don't know what does that mean. I had tried uninstalling and fresh install hamachi but it still doesn't work. Had also tried the winsock fix. Turning off windows firewall. Going to safe mode. All of that doesn't work either. Can anybody help me with this problem? I know hamachi will only work if the network adapter will be installed successfully.
Note: I had tried installing teamviewer vpn and the vpn driver works without any problem so I think there must be something wrong with the hamachi adapter driver. I downloaded the latest version of hamachi which is 2.2.0.406
