You probably will have more success if you install on your local and remote so they will match.
This problem is frequent when using MS HyperV. You must have a driver installed both 32 and 64 Class 3 so that the term service can correctly map the printer from the remote client. If it does not have it, it tries to use the easyprint driver and usually does not work well when printing barcodes.
If you still have problems (pro or enterprise version), then go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Print Management, and select the driver there and choose "Isolate". This will allow the spooler to run as a seperate process for the labels and not stop the spooler.
Also, install a new port on your local to match the port used on the remote, if its serial then example com4 and the baud rate to match or USB and make up a name for it. Then configure the driver on that port.
What model of the Zebra do you have?
