This is what I see when opening the properties windows for Hamachi Network Interface (which only appears in devmgmt.msc but not in the network interfaces):

Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52

Two options:

1. Open the Command Prompt window by clicking the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, and then Right clicking Command Prompt and select
    "Run as Administrator".

2. On the Command Prompt type in the command “Bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks ON” without the quotes.

This will disable the Digital Signature.

OR

Click start, and type gpedit.msc

ENABLE the option for code signed drivers at:

User Config/Admin Templ./System/Driver installation

then set the drop box to "Ignore"

You will need to set exclusions for the hamachi applications in your Windows Firewall For Incoming and Outgoing.

Also add a port exclusion IN/OUT that Hamachi uses to transmit

TCP 12975 (initiator port)
TCP 32976 (session port)

TCP 443 (SSL fallback if others fail)

Don't forget about your Firewall in your router.

Before trying anything else, check your DHCP setting in your router and make sure that the static IP you are wanting to use is not in the DHCP range e.g. 192.168.10.10 through 192.168.253 . If so raise the starting number to say 26 or decrease the end down to 199.

I always reserve at least the first 25 IPs for Servers, Routers and such in the first set. Alarms, Cameras, Printers, and Phones in the last range set.

If its getting a MAC then there is a device getting that IP address. Find the conflicting device and do a ipconfig /release and /renew to force it to get a new IP after making your changes.

No, the address I'm assigning is outside of the DHCP range.

The issue is not that I'm getting assigned a different IP address, it is that the Network Bridge in Windows is being removed and re-added, thus changing the MAC address of the network bridge, and clearing my static IP.

Uninstall Hamachi. Reboot

regedit go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network

Search for Hamachi and delete any network adaptors that are still there.

Reboot

Install Hamachi with latest version

check your registry and see if there are more than 1 adaptors.

Click Edit/Find then type in Himachi

Delete all connection entries that match Hamachi

There are two in there listed under Hamachi. Do you know why there might be two? I am hesitant to delete these as I do not want to lose VPN connectivity with this office at this point.

Could this be related to the fact that another network bridge was created for Hamachi upon restart? If so... does that mean that they'll just keep getting created?

I am starting to rethink using this solution.

Click on the node and export the key if you feel you you may want to import it again. If you uninstalled Hamatchi, then this should not still be there.

Delete both of them and install Hamatchi. It will then only create 1. Then reconnect to your Hamachi network.

Finally. Editing the gpedit property, then uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling worked. Thanks!

But then it started all over again at first reboot. I already tried:

1) The other option, that is, bcdedit

2) toggling the property in gpedit back to disabled, then re enabling it, all this with reboots in the middle, and uninstalling and reinstalling hamachi

Funny things is, the setup now installs 2 hamachi network interfaces, both with the digital signature error.

Again, consider the system is fresh. There's nothing installed on it except for hamachi

Can you look at each of those adaptors and check which driver it is using? There is a possibility it is installing with the wrong one.

Driver details is available in device manager.

In my network 5 computers and 2 of them online. In my personal account on the website https: //secure.logmein.kom shows that the network is empty - not a single participant.

Hamachi network adapter cannot install in WinXP Pro

I had installed logmein hamachi in two of my computers several days ago.  In my Windows 7 PC, it installs successfully and there was no issues/problems whatsoever.

However, in my other PC which is running Windows XP SP3.  Hamachi was able to install successfully, but when I started using it, it have a triangle beside the peer that I want to connect to.  Trying to figure out what is wrong, I checked my network connections, the hamachi network interface is not installed and does not appear in the list.  Checking the device manager, the hamachi network adapter is also not present even if I repeatedly refresh the list.

I had read some of the advice and instructions given in this forum and I did a manual hardware install for the hamachi network interface using the add hardware options, but it is unsuccessful.  It gives an error "The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request."  You can find the error message screenshot at this link:

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img910/3766/QaqBm5.jpg

I don't know what does that mean.  I had tried uninstalling and fresh install hamachi but it still doesn't work.  Had also tried the winsock fix.  Turning off windows firewall.  Going to safe mode.  All of that doesn't work either.  Can anybody help me with this problem?  I know hamachi will only work if the network adapter will be installed successfully.

Note:  I had tried installing teamviewer vpn and the vpn driver works without any problem so I think there must be something wrong with the hamachi adapter driver.  I downloaded the latest version of hamachi which is 2.2.0.406
