Hey there forum users! I'm having a problem with Hamachi not allowing a connection between a friend and I, and it worked up until now. I've tried every fix on the googles, but nothing is working! Any ideas?
Tunnel: OK
Local results:
Adapter configuration: OK
Traffic test: Inbound traffic blocked, check firewall settings
Peer results: [210-321-523]

Fixes tried: TCP/UDP setup in firewall, restarting Hamachi, checking user settings.
I tried the above without success but was able to sort it out by just removing the problem computer from the network, waiting a bit, and adding it back. So much hair loss...
All of a sudden today I noticed that the direct tunnel (rock solid for years) has noiw turned into a relayed tunnel with no apparent reason?
I have a static port mapping with relevant firewall riules on the router and none of this has changed.
I can see from the client log file that it is creating a direct tunnel and then falling back to a relayed tunnel.
Seems to fallback when the client attempts a quick burst of UDP connection requests to the peer using ports which seem to be entirely random and obviously will not work as they are not forwarded in the router at the remote/peer end.
Any ideas?
I sometimes use Free Hamachi to access my PC from elsewhere but the performance is slow, I assume because I have slow internet Upload speeds.
So I have tried Remote Desktop Connection, which works. But when I disconnect Remote Desktop Connection, logmein Hamachi also disconnects on the remote pc so I cant access it again.
Searching the knowledge base and internet it seems people think running the following .bat file before disconnecting solves this problem. They also confirm this is a known problem with free hamachi.

Questions:
1. Do I run this on my pc I am using or on the remote pc I am accessing using Remote Desktop connection?
2. It does not seem to work on either (all I notice is that I get my user logon screen and I enter my password, nothing else visible happens)....but Hamachi still disconnects.
3. After running the .bat file what should I do next? I still have Remote Desktop Connection running on my pc so I close it.
4. I dont understand the last line of the .bat (I assume I need it?)
ps. I understand once I find my session id using query user I might only need 1 of the first 3 lines of the .bat file.

Did you by any chance install Hamachi durring a RDP session? because if so you'll need to uninstall and then reinstall Hamachi while you're locally infront of the machine.
Can you by any chance ping your friend? Could be your friends firewall is blocking you.
Just go to network sharing setting and turn all settings for both public and private and also add hamachi-2.exe to firewall exception. client and host both have to do the same to get a direct tunnel.
I would like to know if it is possible and how to reset all the "hamachi" settings.
No - I have been using Hamachi for a while before I tried to use RDP.

Are you referring to the Hamachi Console settings? If this is what you mean, simply deleting the console and checking the "remove all settings" option will help you. Once you reinstall, you would have done a reset of the previous settings.

When i right click the inf file and click install, it asks me for permission, and when i click yes, i get a tiny bit of loading, then NOTHING

I have read the other post, and I have tried EVERYTHING!
I tried reinstalling and uninstalling, and did this with 3 different versions.
I tried manually installing it by copying the inf file, however when I do this nothing happens, no message saying it installed.
I have tried so many restarts to no success.
It installed just fine on my other windows 10 computer of the same version.
please anything you can do to help.
It does not appear in my device manager nor my network settings.
Seems I was chasing my tail in attempting to resolve what was broken.
As it turns out, the router had stopped forwarding packets from WAN to LAN, although there was nothing obvious being reported in any logs and the firewall logs were reporting no blocking of the incoming packets which should have been NAT port forwarded.
Rebooted the pfSense router and all came good - first time this router solution had caused any problem.

Hello, after win 10 update does not work my network adapter hamachi. Connecting using the protocol IPv4 and IPv6 is not available. For each users in my hamachi program i see yellow triangel. I tired to reset service, but still the same error. Can you tell me some advice or link to any forum? Thanks
