Ok, I've been having problems with hamachi not connecting to network adapter or Peer is not accessible via VPN which effectively means no connection. The temp fix usually is stop & starting the service every reboot or boot up.
Welll. after a little investigation & testing. I have come to the following conclusion.
Log onto the web service & check the deployments of the cliants attached to your network. For some reason. I have some running version W100-2.2.0.519 & some running W100-2.2.0.526 & W100A-2.2.0.526. Now the W100A was the host server running a Minecraft server. This was a new install of hamachi I deployed using the web service url to avoid having to manually log in & add to network. Same was for my main system I'm on now which was the W100-2.2.0.526. It was these 2 systems that had problems with the VPN. Anyways, I don't know why but I logged onto the system running a 2.2.0.219 version & checked for updates & it said latest version installed. Yet the deployment I recently did for my server & my own pc was a newer version.
Anyways, I downloaded from a 3rd party site version 2.2.0.519. Installed on the server & my own system. Manually logged into hamachi & then used the web service to attach them to the networks because using the network ID & passwords don't work. Even when you know the password is correct, still say's it's not.
Anyways. 10 reboots & 10 load ups without any problems what so ever.
So, I would personally avoid 2.2.0.526 if this is the version you have installed & if anyone could tell me why hamachi deployed a newer version from the web service & yet the clients running an older version to it said it was the latest version. That would be great!
Do let me know if this fix's your problems because so far (fingers crossed) it's fixed mine. And it's also stopped the could not bind port problem with Minecraft!
