what a mess of horrible suggestions.

my temp folder permissions were fine.

resetting all permission is just absurd.

the solution was simple but after wasting so much time with the absurd suggestons in this thread, and knowing how miserable logmeinsupport is, i don't want to share it.  Let other people learn how horrible logmein service and support is and stop using it.  thought they might get better having been bought by citrix but i suspect citrix just bought them to put them out of business and absorb their customers into their gotomypc family.  fortunately there are alternatives and they acutally cost less.  Was ok with paying more for a company that had support only to learn it is miserable.

This is a solution forum, not a rage forum. Either seek for help, help or bug out. No one but you wants to hear you whine because you don't know how to make hamachi work from your own ineptitude.

You say this is not a rage forum yet the first a crazy person insults calls me a troll and child, and then the second crazy (you) call me a whiner and inept.

I figure out how to install it wihtout the terrible suggestions in this thread that reak havok on people's security settings when they are completely unecessarry.

If logmein did not hold its customers in contempt and wanted to actually pretend to care then they would post what i figured out after wasting my time with the suggestions here.

And you all really have misdirected anger as well as a total lack of manners which makes me doubly glad that I did not share the solution with the likes of you.

Problems joining Friends tekkit server

So i have been trying for the past 10 or so hours to get this working with no sign of it working. The problem is that when i try to join my friends server if i am a direct tunneling (Green on hamachi) i can't join the game but if i am relayed tunnel i can join the server but if i move a single bit i fall through the world never getting back. i have tried everything on google and all my friends are stumped and said there is nothing for me to do. Help Please

Just installed Hamachi - no joy

Hello.

I downloaded and installed Hamachi, ran it but off the bat it says: failed to connect to Hamachi Servers.

It has 0.0.0.0 and keeps reconnecting...

I searched on the web about Hamachi IP, read the getting started, looked for tutorials on YT: nothing.

I put my net cable directly (not through router). Still no joy.

Prior to starting Hamachi it requested a login, so I did.

At prefs, client is empty (is it supposed to be?)

Is there anything I'm missing?

EDIT:

I'm using a crappy firewall - I explicitly added an exception for Hamachi but it didn't allow it.

Is there a way to resolve this error?

Which network type did you choose? Seems like you made a gateway and Hamachi is issuing out an IP that is already in use( which will give you a 0.0.0.0 ) so to fix that you have to right click the network on the Hamachi GUI and choose gateway settings. Then you can specify a range of IP addresses Hamachi can dish out.

If you don't think a Gateway network is the best for you, a easier fix will be to just switch your network type.

You're going to want to start by making sure Hamachi is set as a Mesh network

I would start by getting a file manager application on the Iphone so that you can browse the server.

and LogMeIn Hamachi, a zero-config virtual private networking utility, ver 2.1.0.174

 

$ sudo service logmein-hamachi start
Starting LogMeIn Hamachi VPN tunneling engine logmein-hamachialready running

starting - success
$ sudo hamachi do-join Test
Hamachi does not seem to be running.
Run '/etc/init.d/logmein-hamachi start' to start daemon.
$ sudo /etc/init.d/logmein-hamachi start
Starting LogMeIn Hamachi VPN tunneling engine logmein-hamachialready running

starting - success
$ sudo hamachi do-join Test
Hamachi does not seem to be running.
Run '/etc/init.d/logmein-hamachi start' to start daemon.

I have hamachi installed on three pc's (2 with win 10 and one with win 7). Everything was great till few days ago when hamachi can't help me to play with my friends. When I ping every pc from those 3 from other I get the message requested timed out. I use hamachi since beggining and I didn't have a problem that I can't resolve till now.

What should I do?

I'm new here and I'm sorry my English. Or Brazil.
I installed Hamachi on the client machine and the server, the connection was established. But why can not I access Remote Desktop (MSTSC) ???
I type the Hamachi IP in the Remote Destop and this image appears ... (attached)
Can you help me? I need to connect the server remotely (desktop)

Try this to solve it:

Steps 1

                          1. turn on hamachi
                          2.click on system
                          3. then click on preferences
                          4.click on settings

                          5.cliick on advanced settings

                          6. find local UDP and TCP address

                          7. in UDP address write in little border "45565" and click on set

                          8. in TCP address write in little border "45566" and click on set

                          9.restart hamachi

If this doesnt work try this :

Steps 2

                          when you have setted UDP and TCP address remove all in little border and restart hamachi

                          After restarting hamachi type same numbers in UDP and TCP address and then restart hamachi

 

                          if this doesnt work too try to repeat Steps 2 and in five minutes of repeating it should be direct

PS: Steps 2 worked for me and my friend

I tried all the instructions listed by Lmi_IT_Pro above and it didn't work (however I didn't try restarting) but I did manage to get it working. In Services under Startup type it had service status Stopped and under that there are 4 buttons one of which is Start just clicked start and it worked fine
