Hi izidor,

Do you mean you still cannot install the driver/adapter and you get an Error 52 on Windows 7?

Hi,

Which version of Hamachi and which operating system are you using?

Re: Have to reinstall Hamachi every single time

I have Hamachi installed on two machines: one desktop-PC and one laptop. One the desktop it runs fine, no problems. On the laptop it demands a reinstall after a restart. It doesn't even open. It tries to, but just can't. Would use tunngle, but it does not autoconnect to private networks with a password...

It was the newest version, but I've fixed the issue by just fully uninstalling hamachi, cleaning undeleted registry files, rebooting and then installing again.

I now tried to do the same. Uninstall, clean registry and download latest version. But still the same result, diagnostic tool complains about the driver (file not found).

I have the same problem. Windows 8.1. It says I get inconsistent time stamp and the driver needs to be reinstalled, and almost all the time I have to get the tunneling service back up running again. Help. When I reinstall a week later it has the same problem.

right click on your install program and seleck Run As Administrator. It doesn't matter if you are logged in as an admin, you still have to do it. Also try temporarily disabling your firewall and antivirus and gauge down you'r UAC settings while uninstalling and reinstalling.

Check device manager and see if there is an Exclamation beside your adaptor.

Check your ports in Router Firewall and Windows Firewall

You should have the following open for incoming and outgoing

TCP 12975 (initiator port)
TCP 32976 (session port)

TCP 443 (SSL fallback if others fail)

I think this may be a timing issue when services do start and perhaps your anti-virus or UAC settings. Try going to Services and changing the Hamachi services to delayed start, in other words let the others start first. I despise UAC and disable it 90% of the time. If you manage your firewall, local and group policies and antivirus with the proper settings and exclusions the UAC is just another wrench in the gears.
