Hello,

 

On Saturday I paid a LogMeIn Hamachi Standard subscription. The idea was to create a 6 users network for gaming. The experience was a disaster. Constant lag and and a really slow connection prevented us from playing.  In the end, what should have been a fun afternoon, was just a wasting of 50 USD.

 

I'd like to cancel my subscription and get a refund, please. To my surprise, there's no option online for cancelling anything, and reading this forum plagged with people denouncing a bad experience with billing pushed me to post this here.

I am trying to add the RDP command (mstsc on WIndows) to the right-click menu. I seem not to be able to figure out the correct syntax..

 

Anyone can help?

I tried 

mstsc /v:$VIP

mstsc /v: $VIP

c:\windows\system32\mstsc.exe /v:$VIP

c:\windows\system32\mstsc.exe /v: $VIP

 

All I get is the Usage window one can trigger with something like "mstsc /"

I'm having the same problem.  Not sure why that was accepted as a solution.  I'm not sure what that app is.  Doesn't make sense from a networking perspective. 

 

Anyhow, any progress on this?

Title says it all:

Hi there. We have used log me in Hamachi for a number of years no problem but we are now experiencing issues connecting to mapped network shares on our domain servers that have been upgraded to 2012 R2

 

I have log me in Hamachi on my laptop. I need access to our office servers but the mapped drives will only work if I repath them using the ip address that the local Hamachi client gives them. I have this issue with 3 servers in offices that are on a private ip range. 192.168.*.* the Hamachi clients are setup as hub and spoke as well. I have unticked hamachi in protected networks in the firewall.

 

It does work on our main office Hamachi but that one is setup as a gateway and is also not on a private Ip range

 

Is there a setting I can change or input to make the local ip address recognised so that when I need to use Hamachi out of the office domain the mapped drives do not need to be repathed to the Hamachi address

 

I hope this makes sense!

i already buy Hamachi VPN but 2 weeks later it say expired and cannot longer access computer. i have told by my tech guy said only have to buy Hamachi VPN. no need to buy logmein something like that. A question is, am i have to buy that 2 things? Hamachi and Logmein?

I'm trying to ping a device on a PC's NIC (Ethernet) with a static IP of say 192.168.1.1 (This IP is fixed, it cannot be configured or changed unfortunately) that is connected to an Hamachi VPN (Mesh network is all I can get to work, but I believe I need the gateway network type in order to access the device, more on that later).

I want to ping that device, 192.168.1.1 from another PC also connected to the VPN. Please see the image below:

I effectively want to Bridge the VPN connection to the local Ethernet port. So The raspberry pi's eth0 and ham0 needs to be "linked" somehow.

I've also enabled the routing service on both PCs, to no avail.

 

I am unable, in general, to set up a gateway network and allow PCs to connect. I can set ip up in the web interface, and join all the PCs, but they all get stuck in this Activating, Reconnecting, disconnecting, etc. loop. Running the diagnosis tells me that there all traffic is blocked. I have completely disabled all forms of firewalls on the 2 PC's to no avail. either.

Suscribí una app. Hamachi Standar para comunicarme con otros PC, ahora que esta por vencer me doy cuenta que esa versión no esta en la página y la que sí esta vigente tiene un valor muy alto, que me deja fuera de presupuesto.

La versión Standar era un enganche para después cobrar un elevado valor?.- No pienso que ello sea así pero si así fuera los pequeños emprendedores quedan fuera.

  Thanks for the detailed error logs.  Does the same error occur when you attempt to setup Hamachi on the Mac OS under a different User Profile?

I cannot uninstall LogMeIn Hamachi. When I try to uninstall from the Control Panel, it just gives "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I can uninstall other programs just fine, only Hamachi has this problem.

Getting any form of support seems to be down to luck, i'm having a similar problem. I can set up a mesh network no proble, but I can't connect to a gateway host. Diagnosis brings basically "Everything is wrong", yet the mesh works without an issue.

I've had the same experience for months now. Does anyone know if LogMeIn is going to be addressing this issue? It's an obvious incompatibility somewhere.  Using PPTP for future deployments seems a little thin
